Best time to Visit: Being among the important Punjab tourist places, the museum remains open from 10am to 5pm from Tuesday to Sunday. It remains closed on Mondays and public holidays. It is advisable to explore the museum during the months from October to March, since the weather is quite pleasant.

Facts: The museum does not only tell the stories of Maharaja Ranjit singh (popularly known as ‘Sher-e-Punjab’), but it also depicts the tales of sikh culture. One can easily get public transport from any part of the city to reach the museum. The ticket price for adults is INR 40, while for kids above 5 years of age is INR 10.
